Your hosts, Kerry and John are peace loving, tree hugging hippie types! We decided to open this place up to other like minded folks who would like to share in the chill vibe here.

This is how Funny Farm Lodgings was born!

We putter in our many gardens, tend the livestock, play with our pack of corgis in between projects in the wood shop or studio. We always make time to hang out with our guests...or not!

It is up to you, we are cool either way.

  • The Cottage has been lovingly restored to reflect a vintage feel, with a few modern upgrades for the whole family to enjoy.

  • The Loft is a newly constructed space above the wood shop, it is simple yet elegant. Perfect for the couple looking to share intimate space and time.

  • We picked the very best spots in the wood lot for private Camp Sites for romantic and intimate getaways or roomy enough for the group of friends to enjoy.

  • Bring the whole gang, mannerly dogs are welcome too!

  • All sites are close to civilization, yet far enough away to enjoy "the wilds" of the hillside.

  • On April Fools day 2019 we acquired House Richland - stay tuned for the completed fishing camp for all your outdoor activities in Pulaski NY

We aim to have a little something for everyone.

All of our places are a reflection of our personalities!

We hope you will enjoy your Farm Stay.

This land had been occupied since 1834.  The land has seen many uses over the years from cows to hens to a stone quarry.  It was also said to have been the towns local blacksmith shop. (By the way we still find some great old steel forged horse shoes!) The land has an interesting topography...(lay of the land).  You see we have some rather nice flat pasture land, a spring fed marshy area leading up to the rocky mountain high stone quarry within the woodlot. We even have a really cool spring fed artisan type well!

By the way, our mighty oak is said to be more than 100 years old!

John and Kerry, my husband and I want to thank you for making our stay amazing! The loft is beautiful and very cozy. It gave us the homey feeling we have longed for while being on the road and away from home. You are incredible people who have gone above and beyond to make our stay special! You are down to earth and have made us feel welcome! If we are ever back in the area, we will definitely come back here where we gave gotten a taste of home. Thank you!

This was a great place for us to stay a couple of nights on our month long road trip! The description was accurate so happy to have no surprises! Kerri was wonderful and met us upon arrival and was kind enough to bring us eggs and vegetables. She also brought down her corgi for us to meet before we left. Great place to stay! Highly recommended!

This was our second stay at Kerry and John's cottage. We had a wonderful time on their lovely farm. The farm is peaceful and beautiful. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck at night looking at the stars. We cooked lots of our meals outside on the grill and kept warm by the campfire on one of the chillier nights. The surrounding area has lots of things to do and see. We enjoyed hiking and swimming, as well as driving to nearby Scranton to visit Steamtown which is a must! Kerry and John are very hospitable, accommodating, and warm hosts. They were always quick to respond to any questions and help out with anything that came up. We highly recommend Kerry and John's place and are already looking forward to booking another stay!
